Exhibit Specialist

Vision IT is seeking a skilled Exhibit Specialist to join our team at the Training Division Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) Section at Fort Rucker, Alabama. As an Exhibit Specialist, you will be responsible for the fabrication, finishing, and maintenance of exhibits that require a high degree of manual dexterity and moderate but varied artistic skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience working from accurate scale drawings, blueprints, or sketches with instructions on materials to be used and colors to be matched. You will work independently on phases of work in which you are proficient and receive training in more complex processes. Your duties will include origination, design, fabrication, reproduction, consultation, demonstration, testing, maintenance, and repair of devices, training aids, and scaled models of Army equipment.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in fabrication, finishing, and maintenance of exhibits. You should have experience with power tools, basic welding procedures, 3D printing, and molding. Additionally, you should have a basic knowledge of construction and fabricating work, including painting. A driver's license with a clean driving background is also required.
