Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Technician - Ultrasound Specialist provides high-quality ultrasound screenings for early detection of medical issues in firefighters and police officers. This role is part of a unique, integrated team approach that prioritizes prevention-based physicals and wellness exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 9 ultrasound screenings per day, scanning organs for early detection of cancer and other medical issues
  • Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional patient care and education
  • Participate in cross-training for echocardiography as needed

Requirements:

  • Professional and compassionate demeanor
  • Energetic and passionate about education and prevention
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Certifications: BLS required, General & Vascular experience
