Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager - Distribution/Warehouse to join our team. This role will lead the financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting of the P&L related to the distribution and warehousing of our portfolio of products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in distribution and logistics supply chain finance. They will be responsible for providing insights into business performance drivers, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing key dashboards and reporting to drive measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead/support close processes, including variance explanations to forecast, plan, and prior year.
  • Identify risks and opportunities via insights into business trends and the current environment.
  • Lead and support the development of key dashboards and reporting, which provides financial insights and recommendations to drive measurable business results.
  • Lead the annual plan development for the distribution centers and warehouses by working closely with supply chain partners and the business unit to assess key trends, metrics, and drivers of change to the business.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the team's overall efficiency, depth of insight, accuracy, and financial analytics.
  • Provide financial leadership for productivity initiatives, including vetting, tracking, and monitoring of productivity projects to ensure timely delivery of savings.
  • Lead and/or assist in performing ad-hoc analyses as requested to support innovation, cost savings, and other initiatives supporting the full brand portfolio.
  • Provide strong financial support and leadership in various supply chain strategic initiatives, including Supply Chain Transformation (T4T) and Design to Consumer Value (DTCV).
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative cross-functional partnerships across the organization.
  • Lead and develop a strong, collaborative, high-performing supply chain finance team.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, CPG experience a plus.
  • Distribution and logistics supply chain finance experience required.
  • Must be located in the surrounding area of Jersey City, New Jersey or willing to relocate to the area for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations as required.
  • Experience in SAP or Oracle. Power BI a plus.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Strong ability to interpret data, identify and communicate potential opportunities and risks.
  • Flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely versatile in fast-paced ambiguous environment with drive for results.
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency.

We also offer a 401(k) plan administered through Fidelity, which allows you to contribute pre- or post-tax dollars and invest as you choose to save for retirement. Tropicana Brands Group makes employer matching contributions to your 401(k) account and will contribute 100% of the first 3% and an additional 50% of the next 2% for a total of a 4% company contribution.

Compensation

$120,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus.
