**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Prepares patients for examination and treatment by taking and recording patient history and vital signs.
  • Assists physicians/providers in the delivery of patient care, working within the scope of practice for a Medical Assistant.
  • Maintains exam and/or treatment rooms, selects, sets up and maintains medical supplies and equipment for all examinations, procedures and/or anesthesia interview as applicable.
  • Provides injections, applies splints and dressings, and facilitates simple wound management under provider orders.

**Requirements:**

  • Accredited Program Required: Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant that allows caregiver to sit for the MOA certification exam.
  • National Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support required upon hire.
