Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our team as a Charge Nurse. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, as well as supervising and mentoring our nursing assistants.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care and adherence to facility policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure resident dignity and comfort through effective communication and emotional support
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current LPN license in the state of Louisiana
- At least 1 year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
