Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our team as a Charge Nurse. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, as well as supervising and mentoring our nursing assistants.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care and adherence to facility policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Ensure resident dignity and comfort through effective communication and emotional support
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current LPN license in the state of Louisiana
  • At least 1 year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
