About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Infrastructure Design Center team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with national industry leaders and local experts to support clients with electrical design and engineering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate existing electrical systems and provide design recommendations
  • Investigate, analyze, design, and engineer electrical and control systems for a wide range of projects
  • Design industrial and heavy civil electrical systems, including power distribution, emergency power, fire alarm, security, television, telecommunications, and computer network systems
  • Prepare technical specifications and engineering reports
  • Coordinate system design with other disciplines
  • Develop cost estimates for proposed design
  • Review shop drawings and product submittals for conformance to contract requirements
  • Perform site visits for documentation of existing electrical and control systems
  • Visit construction sites to inspect work in progress or completed and to provide solutions to construction problems
  • Lead engineer on multiple projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Years of relevant electrical engineering experience
  • Active Professional Engineering registration (or ability to obtain one in a short period)
  • Knowledge of the SKM Power Analysis software is a plus
  • Project management experience a plus, but not required
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with USACE or other federal or local government agencies preferred, but not required
  • Experience with/understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
