Job Summary

M&Y CARE LLC is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in a full-time/Part-time Home Care position. This role offers a great work-life balance and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist (OT), provide patient care services that have been delegated by the OT, ensuring the highest level of care and support for our patients.
  • Collaborate with the OT to evaluate and develop the rehabilitative plan of care, and participate in periodic re-evaluation as required, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Prepare and submit clinical and daily progress notes, reviewed and approved by the OT, within 72 hours, and prepare periodic summary reports to track patient progress.
  • Work closely with the OT to instruct patients and their families on exercise programs, promoting independence and empowerment.
