Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Technician to become a vital part of our automotive service team. The Technician will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing vehicles that come into our service department, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute work assignments as directed by the Service Dispatcher
- Diagnose vehicle issues promptly and accurately
- Maintain professionalism while handling customer vehicles
- Utilize the appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment
- Inform the Service Advisor of any additional repairs needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
- Keep the workshop area tidy and organized
- Participate in ongoing technology training programs
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and manual dexterity. A professional appearance is essential, along with the ability to achieve manufacturer certification in a specialized area.
Working Environment:
This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, lift, kneel, and use both hand and power tools. The Technician will encounter noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and various materials during their work. Additionally, road-testing of vehicles may be a part of the job.
