Clean Harbors, a leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a highly skilled InSite Chemist to join our team. As a key member of our safety-conscious team, you will be responsible for assisting in the collection, identification, and proper packaging and/or lab packing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at our client sites.

• Assist in the collection and identification of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
• Prepare computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restrictions notifications
• Identify unknown laboratory chemicals and perform inspections of staging, accumulating, and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance
• Collect, segregate, and properly package waste chemicals for disposal to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance
• Prepare all necessary tracking paperwork and utilize waste management software to efficiently and accurately manage waste programs

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Driver's License required
• Science background preferred
• Lab Pack experience preferred
• 40 Hour OSHA, RCRA, and DOT preferred
• Attention to detail, able to take and follow direction, and to perform multiple tasks
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
