Plasma Center Nurse Paramedic

At BioLife Plasma Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting plasma center operations and ensuring the highest level of customer service and quality.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and paramedicine, with experience in a clinical or hospital setting. You will be responsible for determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results.
You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and the Center Physician, and will be expected to follow all applicable SOPs and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Determine donor eligibility and manage donor adverse events
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results
- Work under the guidance of the Center Manager and the Center Physician
- Follow all applicable SOPs and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently licensed or certified as an EMT-Paramedic
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
- Satisfactorily complete FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
