Job Summary:

Touro University New York is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a Pediatric Dentist. As a clinical faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching predoctoral students in the area of pediatrics, supervising patient care, and contributing to the academic community through research, academic teaching, and community service.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach predoctoral students in the area of pediatrics, including didactic and laboratory instruction
  • Supervise patient care in the comprehensive care programs
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and educational programs
  • Participate in scholarly activity, including research and publication
  • Engage in committee membership and administrative responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medical Dentistry or Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from a CODA-accredited dental school
  • Certificate of training from an ADA-accredited AEGD or GPR program
  • Eligibility for licensure in New York State

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous teaching experience
  • Research experience
  • Community service experience

Working Conditions:
