About the Role

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian II to join our team in Hershey, PA. As a key member of our dietary and nutrition department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and leadership in establishing standards of practice for nutritional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and be responsible for needs assessment, program development and evaluation, in-service education, medical staff education, and nutrition research.
  • Serve as a consultant to clinical dietitians, physicians, and other health professionals, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Develop and implement nutrition programs and services that meet the needs of our diverse patient population.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nutrition or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with an additional job-related specialty certification.
  • Registered Dietitian (ADA) certification or eligibility.
  • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical dietitian role, or 7 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree and additional job-related specialty certification.
