BAYADA Home Health Care is a leading provider of home healthcare services, seeking an experienced Senior Care Therapist to join our team in Lincolnton, North Carolina.


Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to work with adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing services, enabling clients to receive the medical attention required to remain at home.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Continuously assess and revise the speech therapy care plan, participating in multidisciplinary care planning as necessary.
  • Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives on rehabilitative care and activities promoting client health, safety, and independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to patient care management and services provided using state-of-the-art technology.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NC.
  • The equivalent educational requirements and relevant work experience necessary for certification.
  • Solid computer skills, with prior experience in electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
