About the Role:

The Surgical Technologist will play a vital role in preparing the operating room and gathering necessary supplies for surgical procedures. They will deliver instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team, and may function as a second assistant to the surgeon. Additionally, they will assist in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies, and instruments post-operatively.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association certification
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist school or equivalent military training, or 10+ years' experience as a Surgery Tech
  • Understanding of procedures performed and ability to anticipate surgeon's needs
  • Strong clinical knowledge of OR environment and ability to ensure quality patient care
