Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Planner to join our team in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role will serve as the financial planning lead on client teams for new and existing relationships. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated passion for financial planning and providing direct advice to clients.


The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for managing new client relationships as part of a team approach. They will oversee the implementation of financial planning recommendations, manage client relationships, and contribute to firm growth through participation in new business presentations and excellent ongoing client service.


Responsibilities:

  • Originate, manage, and maintain relationships with clients by earning trust, understanding client needs, and developing thoughtful financial planning solutions while delivering an exceptional client experience
  • Oversee the implementation of financial planning recommendations, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication with clients
  • Collaborate with Investment Advisors to identify and exceed client expectations by delivering value propositions and creating meaningful connections with clients
  • Contribute to firm growth through new business presentations and referrals from satisfied clients
  • Prioritize strategic planning initiatives, engaging with the Financial Planning Committee and other working groups to advance business objectives

Qualifications:

  • CFP professional designation and a bachelor's degree required
  • At least 10 years of experience in financial planning and client relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively
  • Experience with eMoney, Salesforce, and Orion is a plus
  • Proven track record of developing new business through referrals and marketing efforts
  • Able to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect
  • Strong organizational skills, applying a disciplined and organized approach throughout their work

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
