Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at ADN Healthcare. This is a travel position in Mount Vernon, Washington, offering a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience.

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiovascular procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, and other diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, including setup and cleanup of equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and applying ECG leads.
  • Assist the physician during procedures, including injecting contrast media, monitoring the patient's vital signs, and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, medications, and procedure results.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a cath lab or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
