About the Job

Havenly is looking for a talented Machine Learning Expert to join our team, where you will be responsible for leveraging our proprietary data to develop data-driven tools and enhance user experiences across our portfolio of interior design and ecommerce brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will research and apply advanced data science and machine learning techniques to tackle challenges such as building recommendation systems, enhancing chat workflows, generating images, extracting features from unstructured data, predicting trends, and more.
  • You will work with our agile team to identify opportunities to leverage our proprietary data to build data-driven tools and experiences.
  • You will develop, train, and deploy machine learning models aimed at enhancing customer experiences and reinventing designer workflows.
  • You will conduct exploratory analysis to identify opportunities for developing new features.
  • You will engage in data engineering tasks, including accessing, transforming, modeling, and storing data, to facilitate machine learning training and feature development.

Requirements

  • You should have experience deploying machine learning models to production environments on cloud service providers (preferably GCP/AWS).
  • You should be proficient in Python and have experience with machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, and Scikit-learn.
  • You should have a strong understanding of Neural Networks and their applications.
  • You should have a strong understanding of SQL and experience working with data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • You should have experience with image processing in ML models.
  • You should demonstrate the ability to perform data engineering tasks, including data access, transformation, modeling, and storage, to enable machine learning pipelines.
  • You should have a solid foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis.
  • You should have an innovative mindset with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities for the application of machine learning and data science methods.
  • You should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work as a thought partner to various stakeholders across the business.
  • You should have a Masters degree in statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, or a related field, or 5+ years of related work experience.
