About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in post-anesthesia care. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
Responsibilities:
- Provide post-operative care for patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU
- Monitor vital signs, assess patients' conditions, and manage pain and discomfort
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers and surgical team to ensure smooth transition from surgery to recovery
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and potential complications
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and protocols
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$115,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
