Aerospace Project Manager

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS) is a world leader in engineered polymer solutions for various industries. We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Project Manager to support our Aerospace Airframe segment by managing customer projects and completing technical requirements from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects of moderate complexity by following TSS AHA Airframe Project Management Process and AS9100 requirements
  • Develop, coordinate, and/or manage customer requests (RFI, RFQ, Q&A) including creation of quotations or proposals
  • Assess and mitigate risks using various project management tools and internally developed tools
  • Understand customer requirements, applications, products, manufacturing process to complete project feasibility review
  • Coordinate technical and commercial reviews as needed to ensure project success
  • Ensure quality and delivery requirements are captured, communicated, and completed
  • Support factories as needed to fulfill project deliverables
  • Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing a project
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan
  • Resolve operational problems to minimize delays
  • Identify necessary resources to support the project plan
  • Develop and maintain schedules, ensuring that actions and completed and targets met
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
Requirements:
  • Preferred 5 years, minimum 3 years' experience in a corporate engineering setting required
  • Bachelors degree or additional 4+ years of relevant experience required; engineering or other relevant technical degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience--PMP or equivalent certification ideal
  • Working knowledge and proven experience using AutoCAD, Solidworks or other 3D software strongly preferred.
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred.
Travel:
  • 25% long term
