Key Responsibilities:
In your role as a CNA, you will provide care to residents under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Your duties will include:
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Measuring and documenting height, weight, and fluid intake/output
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting residents with meals and hydration
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' skin condition to nursing staff; providing necessary skin care
- Addressing residents' mental health and social service needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CNA certification in the state of Michigan is required
