Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of field technicians to install and maintain fiber networks, ensuring timely service activation and repair commitments.
  • Collaborate with various departments to monitor service SLAs, workload, and customer needs, ensuring adequate resources and manpower to meet demands.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, improving coordination and cohesion between departments to enhance the overall quality of service experience.
  • Manage a P&L budget to ensure revenue goals and expense targets are met, providing feedback and ongoing training to team members to exceed department goals.
  • Partner with Human Resources to ensure fair and consistent application of practices/policies and labor agreements, maintaining a safe work environment through regular safety meetings and training.
  • Represent Frontier positively through community engagement and involvement, partnering with marketing to ensure an appropriate competitive response.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of Central Office, IOF, FTTH, and data networks.
  • Field Technician work experience preferred, with supervisory experience in an operations environment or equivalent work/military experience.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers, labor unions, and lead a team under pressure with deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering, plant service center, outside plant functions, electrical circuitry, network installation, maintenance, and testing of central offices, as well as HSI/DSL installation, FTTH, and data networking.
  • Must possess basic PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and be available 24/7 to support off-shift technicians and emergency situations.
  • High school diploma or GED required, with CCNA, PMP, or CWNP a plus.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
What We Offer
  • Salary Range: $83,000 - $131,000.
  • 20 PTO days + 10 paid holidays per year.
  • Day one medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plan.
  • 401k match of 50% on 6% of eligible compensation.

  • 10 weeks of paid parental leave, 3 weeks of paid caregiver leave, and up to $10k in adoption program assistance.
