Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA MidAmerica Health. As a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, performing procedures, and administering medications as ordered by medical providers. You will also educate patients and families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
