Role Summary
The selected Physician Assistant/ARNP will primarily collaborate with a designated physician while also engaging in cross-coverage opportunities. Preference will be given to candidates with over five years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant/ARNP will be integral to our dedicated team, providing essential services that uphold our standards of care and organizational values. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and documenting accurate medical histories.
- Formulating comprehensive patient care plans based on health evaluations.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and treatments within the established scope of practice.
- Prescribing medications and therapeutic aids as per clinical privileges.
- Educating patients and their families about treatment plans and health management.
- Maintaining proficiency in surgical procedures and clinical protocols.
- Assisting in surgical operations and performing hospital rounds.
- Providing emergency care and initiating life support when necessary.
- Advocating for patients and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or ARNP program.
- Current Washington State licensure as a Physician Assistant or ARNP.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or ARNP certification.
- Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Two years of surgical experience.

- Strong physical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and standards of care.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Work Environment
The work environment may include both office and clinical settings. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
