Scrum Master, Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master and Agile Coach to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with our development team to facilitate Agile best practices and mentor new team members on Agile processes. Your expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies will help us deliver high-quality software and infrastructure solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Support the management team in communicating with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Collect and write detailed user stories and work with the team and client to identify associated tasks and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze business processes and work with the project team to implement and improve processes.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain a product backlog, support QA and requirement validation, meet with various stakeholders to discuss needs, and provide suggestions during stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering.
- Provide documentation for new efforts, including level of effort analysis, plans or timelines, requirements documents, and other required documentation.
- 8+ years of experience with gathering and documenting technical and business requirements as a Scrum Master of a development team in large software or infrastructure programs.
- Experience with Atlassian tools, such as Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
- Experience in collecting and reporting DORA metrics for SAFe Agile teams.
- Experience in leading client delivery engagements and working with senior-level client management.
- Experience with teaching technical teams the basic Agile framework concepts.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification.
- Experience with driving continuous improvement and delivering high-quality software and infrastructure solutions.
- Knowledge of the project management framework.
- Ability to handle complex and challenging situations.
- Possession of excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
- Possession of excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Master's degree.
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification.
