Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Provide expert clinical guidance, support, and education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, laws, and industry standards, ensuring compliance and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to patient and customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and develop the skills of pharmacy technicians, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records to ensure efficient operations.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement measures to prevent loss and minimize waste, ensuring the integrity of our operations.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize workflow processes, streamlining operations to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Possess an active pharmacy license in the state where you are employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Hold immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check, including a review of your DEA registration and any pending felony charges or convictions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
