Pipefitter - Alabama

At Bilfinger Inc., we are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team in Alabama. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems for various industrial processes.

• Select and install pipes and fittings according to job specifications and building plans.
• Inspect worksites to identify potential obstructions and ensure safe installation.
• Plan and sequence installation to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient workflow.
• Assemble and install piping systems, including threaded, soldered, and brazed joints.
• Test and maintain piping systems to ensure leak-free operation.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 100 pounds).
