Position Overview:
Job Title: Financial Systems Architect at ShiftCode Analytics

The Financial Systems Architect is instrumental in assessing our organization’s systems integration and business reporting requirements, delivering insightful recommendations for effective solutions.

Recent evaluations of our business processes have highlighted the necessity for enhancements in our financial systems, particularly in reporting and systems integration to guarantee accurate and timely data interchange.

Additionally, there is a pressing need to establish an automated job costing system that encompasses inventory, labor, and freight tracking and reporting.

We seek a proficient Financial Systems Architect to perform a thorough system evaluation, including analyzing data and workflow discrepancies identified during our Business Process Review, and propose optimal financial systems solutions or integrations tailored for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing systems and identify workflow gaps and requirements.
  • Assess the viability of the legacy system as the organization’s financial framework.
  • Recommend alternative financial systems to meet workflow and reporting demands.
  • Advise on automated modules for inventory, labor, and freight tracking and reporting.
  • Suggest strategies for improved systems integration and data sharing.
  • Estimate timelines and costs for the implementation of the recommendations.
Key Deliverables:

Provide a comprehensive recommendation (including cost, timeline, and rationale) for a suitable financial system that supports long-term growth and efficient data exchange among core business systems, including the capability to automate production labor and freight data capture.

Outline a detailed technical strategy for facilitating necessary data exchange between core business systems, along with a proposed timeline and cost for execution.

Develop a clear plan for automating the capture of production labor and freight data.

Required Skills:
  • At least 10 years of experience in gathering and defining requirements.
  • Extensive expertise in system analysis for over 10 years.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • 5+ years of proficiency in Financial Systems Architecture.
  • 5+ years of Integration experience with financial systems.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing solutions.
  • Experience in effectively presenting to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
