Job Title: Companion Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to join our team at Visiting Angels San Angelo. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to seniors in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients and their families
Requirements:
  • Passion for working with seniors and providing compassionate care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • High school diploma or equivalent
