Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Supervisor to join our team at Franciscan Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety while maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets to ensure achievement of financial projections.
  • Contribute to survey readiness by ensuring compliance with ACR, HFAP, ISBOH, IDPH, and IEMA regulations.
  • Maintain quality programs and investigate special cases or complaints to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in people management activities, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interviews.
  • Research, develop, and maintain technical policies, exams, and procedure manuals.
  • Schedule and delegate work assignments to coworkers to meet departmental needs.
  • Provide patient education on procedures and protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with hospitals and other departments to maintain high standards.
  • Provide direct patient care as needed, gathering information on patients' illnesses and medical history.
  • Inspect and operate equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Implement training and education programs for new and current staff.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Required Certificate and 3 years of Radiology experience.
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certification and X-Ray Operator certification.
Travel Requirements

Travel is required, but the frequency is minimal.
