Sanitation Technician

The Job Center Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sanitation Technician. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working space.

• Perform regular and end-of-run clean-ups and periodic cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Verify the cleanliness of equipment before releasing it to production to prevent contamination.
• Ability to perform overhead cleaning in multiple departments and drain cleanings as needed.
• Work effectively as a team member, communicating and collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
• Report any safety concerns or potential hazards to management promptly.
• Perform any assigned sanitation cleaning projects and duties as directed by management.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for a food plant and all applicable regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
• Provide cleaning and sanitation coaching to other team members as needed.
• Operate streamers and high-pressure hoses safely to clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and facilities.
• Wear and comply with all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

1. Previous experience in sanitation or a related field is preferred.
2. Must pass a 10-panel drug test.
3. Must have steel-toe boots/shoes.
4. Must be detail-oriented and self-driven.
5. Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
