Job Summary:

Springwell is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Lead Driver and Logistics Coordinator for our Meals on Wheels program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt and distribution of meals to our clients, as well as delivering a meal route yourself.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receipt and distribution of approximately 250 meals per day to our team of employees and volunteers.
  • Deliver a meal route to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of meals and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of meal delivery and distribution.
  • Collaborate with the program team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements:

  • A reliable vehicle, current driver's license, and safe driving record are required.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and navigate various terrain.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with seniors.
  • Experience working with seniors or in a related field is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $20.00.
  • Benefit-eligible position with paid holiday, sick, and vacation time.
  • Mileage reimbursement provided.
