Bartender - Mixology Expert

Ruths Chris Steak House is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

• Customer Service: Greet all guests immediately, make beverage suggestions, and answer questions regarding food and beverage service.
• Beverage Preparation: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room guests while adhering to all Ruths Chris specifications, recipes, and procedures.
• Bar Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, back bar, bar work areas, shelving, and storage areas up to Ruths Chris standards.
• Point of Sale Operations: Correctly present the guest check and process payment for all food and beverages sold.
• Team Support: Support other Front of House positions as needed, providing a seamless guest experience to all guests.

• Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service, as well as extensive wine knowledge.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
• Technical Skills: Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods of time, at least 8 hours, and traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. The Bartender will work in a restaurant setting, with exposure to loud noises from restaurant equipment and machinery, fumes, odors, dust, and smoke. The temperature extremes range from working near 1800-degree Fahrenheit to working in a walk-in freezer of -10 degree Fahrenheit.
