We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will be responsible for providing behavioral therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
- Develop and implement Positive Behavior Support (PBS) plans to reduce problem behaviors and increase adaptive skills
- Train staff on ABA concepts and principles to ensure consistent implementation of PBS plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide regular progress updates to parents and guardians
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Strong experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities
- Significant experience writing PBS plans and conducting FBAs
- Training staff on ABA concepts and principles
- Competitive salary range of $49,500-$56,430
