Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of high-level systems analysis and technical phases of development
  • Manage the activities of others on complex projects and provide technical direction and guidance
  • Collaborate with senior management, technology personnel, clients, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and maintain thorough, clear technical and functional specifications and update systems documentation
  • Prepare and review test data and execute detailed test plans
  • Complete required debugging and evaluate complex interrelationships and effects among programs and applications
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree and 6 years' systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 6 years' systems analysis/application development experience
  • Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms
  • Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent project management, word processing, and spreadsheet software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, and organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and multitask for various components of complex projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good understanding of the Bank's application framework
  • Subject matter expert in business with knowledge or experience utilizing application/system being supported
  • Mastered understanding of applications supported with an advanced knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications
What We Offer

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $110, $184,391.68 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
