$8,000 hiring incentive for eligible candidates, market competitive hiring rates, and up to $7 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Nurse to join our team at Geisinger Life Flight. As a critical care specialist, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients in need of urgent medical attention. Your expertise in critical care transport will be invaluable in ensuring the safe transportation of patients from one facility to another.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of nursing experience, with at least two years of critical care experience. You will also need to possess certifications such as CCRN, CEN, CFRN, or CTRN. A valid driver's license and ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds are required. Working conditions may include exposure to loud aircraft noise, fumes, gases, odors, dust particles, and mechanical and electrical hazards. Travel may be required, but employee weight should not exceed 275 lbs in flight gear.

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced pilots and other medical crew members to ensure seamless patient care. You will maintain thorough patient care documentation, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Your problem-solving skills and ability to think critically will be essential in responding to emergency situations. Required Skills and Qualifications:
