Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Safely drive and operate lumber delivery trucks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of building materials and lumber supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Logistics and Planning: Collaborate with our dispatch team to plan and coordinate delivery routes, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre- and post-trip safety checks on company vehicles and report any issues to management.
  • Compliance and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Experience: Clean driving record and a track record of safety-conscious performance.
  • Skills: Strong process orientation, effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions

The Building Materials Logistics Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, often in extreme climates, and will be required to lift up to 75 pounds regularly. The position requires frequent climbing into and out of a large truck, bending, standing, and ongoing physical activity.
