Job Title: Lead Caregiver

Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a qualified Lead Caregiver to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Lead Caregiver, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of Early Childhood classroom activities, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a leadership role in weekly planning and implementation of Early Childhood Curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with assigned staff to supervise children and daily operations of the classroom
  • Communicate with parents regarding the diapering/toilet learning process and complete daily notes
  • Record observations, complete assessments, and conduct parent-teacher conferences
  • Ensure implementation of recommendations from the Center Manager and maintain a neat and organized classroom

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and up to 12 months of experience
  • CDA Credential or 9 College Credits in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field with two years of experience
  • Valid NYS Driver's License with points within Agency policy and access to a reliable vehicle
