Job Title: Photographic Technology/Commercial Photography Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach Photographic Technology and Commercial Photography courses at Sierra College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in photography and education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Photographic Technology and Commercial Photography courses, including curriculum development and implementation
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
  • Hold regular office hours and provide academic advising to students
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Photography or related field
  • Two years of professional experience in photography or education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Photography or related field
  • Experience teaching photography courses
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
  • Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
