Job Summary

The Shift Leader is a key member of the Restaurant Management Team, responsible for ensuring seamless operations during their shift. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to maintain high levels of productivity and Team morale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise Team Members, monitor performance, and provide feedback to ensure they meet expectations.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all activities are consistent with the Restaurant's business plan, and implement daily operational routines and activities.
  • Guest Experience: Greet Guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Team Development: Train new and current Team Members on tasks, and provide direction and supervision to maintain high productivity.
  • Administrative Duties: Balance cash drawers, prepare cash deposits, and complete required administrative duties and daily paperwork.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with Team Members and Management to resolve interpersonal issues and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Age and Language: Must be at least 18 years old and fluent in English.
  • Certifications: Certified in all stations following the DHC Training Program.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift lbs. comfortably.
  • Soft Skills: Positive attitude, effective communication, and excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
