About the Role


This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read, understand, and follow test process instructions (TPIs). The successful candidate will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and optical engineers, providing feedback and recommending changes to improve operation or quality of test, assembly fixtures, tooling, and processes.



Key Responsibilities



  • Perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot rejected analog and digital assemblies down to component level.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • Assist in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.


Requirements



  • 4+ years of experience as an electronics test technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, variable power supplies, and digital multi-meters.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and drawings, perform modifications, and accomplish rework on subassemblies and systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
