Job Description
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of Registered Occupational Therapists to implement patient treatment plans. Your primary goal is to provide excellent patient care and complete documentation accurately in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Scope of Responsibility
Your duties as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant include providing patient treatments, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals.
Estimated Salary: $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current State of Texas licensure and certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
- One year of clinical experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
- American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Good communication and basic computer skills
