The Automotive Body Repair Assistant will engage in various tasks throughout the body repair process, including transporting customers and vehicles, managing parts inventory, cleaning vehicles, maintaining shop cleanliness, conducting quality control checks, assisting in repairs, and performing any additional duties as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-cleaning vehicles before the repair process begins
  • Final cleaning of vehicles post-repair
  • Restoring vehicles to a like-new condition and assisting in final quality checks before returning them to customers
  • Receiving and checking in parts; ensuring timely delivery to technicians and proper storage to prevent damage
  • Relocating vehicles on-site and off-site as necessary
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including returning tools and managing parts/materials
  • Ensuring all vehicles needing movement in the morning and evening are properly handled and secured
  • Reporting any issues that may hinder quality work or affect timelines to management
  • Adhering to all workplace safety protocols
  • Wearing and maintaining all required personal protective equipment
  • Assisting all shop personnel with various aspects of the repair process
  • Carrying out additional tasks as assigned, including washing vehicles and cleaning the shop

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
