Key Responsibilities
- Engage effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of box office procedures and assisting with seating inquiries through various communication channels.
- Address customer service inquiries via email and phone promptly.
- Facilitate ticket orders and subscriber exchanges through direct interaction at the box office and over the phone.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given and sales are reconciled at the end of shifts.
- Support the creation of pricing documents and seating layouts for specific performances.
- Assist patrons in need of accessible seating options.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by management, including processing promotional ticket requests and maintaining organization within the Box Office.
- Prepare ticket orders for dispatch.
- Help transport necessary materials to and from the theater as required.
- Participate in training new team members on ticketing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in customer service is essential.
- Strong cash handling abilities and the capacity to provide accurate change.
- Comfortable using various computer applications.
- Experience with automated ticketing systems is advantageous.
- Possess a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Exceptional communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve issues independently.
- Background in sales or retail is preferred.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor conditions.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
