Primary Care Clinic Medic

2 weeks ago

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States Rezilient Health Full time
Rezilient Health is a revolutionary healthcare company that's changing the way primary care is delivered. We're not a traditional doctor's office, and we're not telehealth. We're a hybrid model that combines the best of both worlds. Our mission is simple: to make access to primary care convenient, timely, and seamless. No long waits, no treating patients as a number. Our clinics are staffed by paramedics, but the doctor joins the appointment virtually on-screen. The provider relies on the medic as their partner for a thorough physical assessment, with the aid of connected devices that live stream ENT, skin, and cardio respiratory exams. This allows the provider to see and hear high-quality exams, and it allows the patient to participate in the experience themselves through hearing their own heartbeat or seeing their own eardrum. Because our providers are virtual, patients can choose their doctor based on their preferences, not their location, and appointments can be scheduled the same or next day. We believe good healthcare takes time and attention, so at Rezilient Health, we allow patients as much time as they need with their provider to fully address their concerns. Our model is breaking through the old way of medicine and bringing transparency and high-quality care through the use of technology. We're looking for paramedics who are ready to expand and break new ground in the world of primary care.

Key Responsibilities

* Serve as the all-in-one micro clinic operator: greeting patients, working as the hands of the physician during appointments, and performing in-clinic tests and procedures.
* Use connected devices to perform physical exams with a virtual physician (cardiac and lung exam w/ stethoscope, ear exam w/ otoscope, etc.).
* In-clinic procedures including: blood draws, processing urine samples, injections, ear flushes, etc.
* Accurate charting and documentation of exams, procedures, and lab orders.
* Troubleshooting devices or audio/video issues that might occur (camera obstructed, speakers disconnected, screen disconnected, etc). In-depth technical support is provided remotely.
* Daily opening and closing of the clinic
* Shifts are available Mon-Fri 08:30-17:30
* $26 - $29/hr

Requirements

* Must be able to commute to our main clinic in Stillwater, OK.
* Paramedic current state licensure, (+ NREMT preferred)
* Comfortable working independently with a variety of remote specialty physicians. Most clinics are staffed by just one or two medics - with the rest of your team being remote. We work hard to keep everyone connected in the company, and are therefore looking for someone who's comfortable interacting with colleagues remotely.
* Good with technology. You'll be trained, so you don't need to be an expert - but you do need to be confident, curious, and a quick learner when it comes to new technology.
* Previous experience in clinics, primary care, urgent care, ED, ICU, step down I/P units is beneficial but not required.
* Excellent people skills. The way you treat people and handle their care is the absolute most important thing to us at Rezilient Health. We can train employees to do a lot, but we can't train character and attitude. If you love taking care of people, making them feel comfortable, safe, and heard - this is not the job for you.
* Soft skills - independent thinker, problem solver, passion for revolutionizing healthcare, hands-on, can-do personality.

Benefits

* Competitive pay with consideration given for years of experience
* Subsidized health and life insurance for FT employees
* Paid company holidays and generous paid PTO policy for FT employees
* Flexible hours with no weekend, holiday, or night shifts required
* The opportunity to work one-on-one with physicians and learn more about both chronic disease management and acute issues in primary care.
* Friendly work environment where you are treated as a valuable member of a team with direct access to management who listen and address concerns.
* Be part of a start-up that hopes to disrupt and improve the way healthcare is delivered to everyone

What We Offer

At Rezilient Health, we're committed to providing our employees with the best possible work environment. We offer competitive pay, subsidized health and life insurance, paid company holidays and generous paid PTO policy, flexible hours, and the opportunity to work one-on-one with physicians and learn more about both chronic disease management and acute issues in primary care. We're a friendly work environment where you are treated as a valuable member of a team with direct access to management who listen and address concerns. We're also part of a start-up that hopes to disrupt and improve the way healthcare is delivered to everyone.
