About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at our Lake Geneva store. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate patient medication histories to make recommendations regarding drug therapy and delivery.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to patients and healthcare providers on drug-related issues and optimal therapy.
  • Check for potential allergic or adverse reactions and report them through appropriate channels.
  • Prepare and distribute medications in accordance with Wisconsin Administrative Code and provide necessary information to patients or intermediaries.
  • Provide work direction and guidance to technicians in performing technical pharmacy functions and ensure high standards of pharmaceutical care.
  • Assume responsibility for the operation of the department in the absence of the direct supervisor.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Immunization certification granted from the state of WI or an ACPE-approved program.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with providers, staff, and patients.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to navigate a database and run reports.
