The Respiratory Care Practitioner is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support. As a Certified Respiratory Therapist - CRT, you will work under the direction of the Medical Director and Clinical Supervisor to assess, treat, and care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including acute and chronic respiratory diseases
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care
- Minimum of one year hospital-based experience preferred
- Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care - CRT license
- BCLS certificate
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS may be required within 90 days of hire date
- Current license to practice respiratory care by the State of Texas Department of Health required
