Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic Women's Health team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and assist in various clinical functions to support our providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
  • Document patient history and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Participate in in-office procedures under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider
  • Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing and venipuncture for lab testing
  • Prescription call-backs within scope of practice
  • Prepare patient charts for clinical information and maintain inventory of supplies
  • Adhere to Albany Medical Center's regulatory compliance issues
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from physicians, patients, and staff
  • LPN licensure required
