About the Role

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a skilled Armed Security Officer to join our team in Miami Dade County, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and security of our clients, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and patrol various areas of the county, including entrances and restricted areas, to ensure the safety and security of our clients.
  • Provide access control and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, working in a variety of environments and conditions.
Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Florida driver's license, Security Class D and G License.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent and one of the following: U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge), Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate), or Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts).
  • Pass a background investigation and drug screen, as required by law.
