Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse in Special Procedures, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and assisting providers in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preoperative and postoperative assessments, patient care, and procedural assistance.
  • Provide education and reassurance to patients and families regarding their procedures.
  • Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including conscious sedation, pain management, bronchoscopy, and minor surgery.
  • Implement care strategies based on individualized patient plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals, reporting data and outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Actively participate in ongoing clinical variance monitoring and assist with maintaining accurate patient records and charge documentation.
  • Handle patient phone calls for education and reassurance as needed.
  • Take after-hours call as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) - Required
  • Certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 90 days of hire
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Experience in Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, and Conscious Sedation is preferred but not required.
