Job Opportunity

On The Green is seeking a skilled Lawn Care Technician to join our team in Gambrills, MD. As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, diagnosing and resolving turf, weed, and shrub problems, and using environmentally responsible lawn care treatments to beautify our customers' properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional communication with customers regarding their service.
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement in customers' lawn care needs.
  • Identify solutions for common and complex lawn care issues and implement those solutions.
  • Use environmentally responsible lawn care products and follow proper application guidelines.
  • Drive an assigned route using a company vehicle.
  • Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and submit requests for routine maintenance.
  • Use technology to read and follow routes, order specifications, and enter job details.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Background in lawn care/landscaping or golf course maintenance preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of fertilizers, insecticides, and fungicides preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
  • Flexibility to work Saturday hours on an as-needed basis to meet production goals.

At On The Green, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $17.00-$20.00, an average monthly bonus, and quarterly team bonus.
